Ernestina Brown serves as a Bilingual Aide in the ESL Department at Fulshear High School. Working as a software developer, she has over 25 years of experience across various industries, including data science, petroleum, chemical, electronics, food, automotive, geophysical services, financial services, metallurgy, information technology, media, and public services. Born and raised in Mexico, Mrs. Brown earned her degree in Computer Systems Engineering in her home country and pursued master’s studies in Software Engineering at RWTH Aachen University in Germany.
Driven by her passion for education, psychology, languages, and philosophy, Mrs. Brown has steered her path toward the field of education. She is now pursuing her Teacher Certification with the goal of teaching in her areas of expertise, including engineering-related fields, Spanish, or English. She is passionate about helping others discover that learning is not only rewarding but also a fulfilling journey that brings meaning to individuals and strengthens the communities in which they live.
Mrs. Brown values family and friends above all else. She enjoys practicing sports, reading, and playing board games, finding both fun and intellectual fulfillment in observing and analyzing the intricacies of the world around her. In her free time, she also enjoys software development and exploring technology that enhances everyday life. While she appreciates the advancements in AI, she firmly believes that no technology will ever surpass the human ability to process information with depth and creativity.
